Industrial Rehabilitation/ Labor and Industries: We provide rehabilitation of work-related injuries as well as physical capacity evaluations, work hardening, work conditioning and onsite ergonomic assessments.
- Work-related injuries: We help get injured workers back on the job. We provide individualized treatment by licensed professionals.
- What is a Physical Capacity Evaluation (PCE)?: This four hour assessment takes the worker through specific job related tasks in a safe environment. A detailed report will be generated to enable the Doctor, Vocational Rehab counselor, Rehabilitation Nurse, or Claims Manager to better guide the injured worker through either their re-training or return to work.
- What is Work Hardening? An intensive, individualized program designed to increase physical conditioning and functional work tolerances to help injured workers safely return to work. The program is performed over a 1-6 week period with a steady progression of workloads toward job requirements. It provides a transition between medical care and return to work by improving the worker’s biomechanical, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and psycho-social functions.
- What is Work Conditioning? Individualized program based on injury and return to work goals. It consists of whole body conditioning, injury-specific exercises and work simulation tasks. It also provides education regarding injury, exercise, posture, body mechanics and self-care.
- Onsite Ergonomic Assessments: We provide ergonomic assessments at your place of business to help treat or prevent repetitive strain injuries. A licensed Physical Therapist will evaluate your work environment to identify potential risks for future injury or causes of current problems.
